Terms of Service

Last updated 6 September 2026.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Fullback, a scheduled backup, diff, and restore service for Contentful spaces (the "Service"), operated by Jan Michael Intia, an individual sole proprietor based in the Republic of the Philippines ("Fullback", "we", "us"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you're using the Service on behalf of an organization, you're agreeing on that organization's behalf and confirming you have the authority to do so.

2. The Service

Fullback connects to a Contentful space using a Content Management API (CMA) token you provide, takes scheduled and on-demand snapshots of that space's entries and content types, lets you compare any two snapshots, and — only when you explicitly confirm it — restores a specific entry back to a prior state.

We do not back up binary assets or support full-space restore in the current version of the Service; the exact scope of what's backed up is described on our pricing and product pages, which may be updated as the Service evolves.

3. Accounts

You need an account to use the Service. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.

4. Your Contentful token and content

You control what CMA token you give us and what permissions it carries. A read-only token lets us back up your space but not restore into it; a token with write access enables restore. You can revoke or rotate the token connected to a space at any time from your dashboard, and disconnecting a space stops future backups immediately.

You retain all rights to the content stored in your Contentful space and to the snapshots we take of it. We only access and process your content to provide the Service to you — we don't use it for any other purpose, and we don't claim ownership of it.

5. Restore is your decision

Every restore is a write to your live Contentful space. Before anything is written, the Service shows you a before/after diff of exactly what will change and requires your explicit confirmation. Once you confirm a restore, we carry it out as shown — we are not responsible for the consequences of a restore you approved, including conflicts with edits made to the entry after the snapshot was taken.

You're responsible for reviewing what a restore will do before confirming it.

6. Plans, billing, and cancellation

Fullback offers a Free plan and paid Starter and Pro subscription plans, billed monthly through Stripe. Current pricing and what each plan includes are shown on our pricing page and are subject to change with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel any time from the Billing page in your dashboard (via Stripe's Customer Portal); cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep paid-plan access until then, and no further charges occur after that. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

If a payment fails, we may downgrade your account to the Free plan after a reasonable grace period and notice.

We never see or store your card details — Stripe processes all payments directly.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to store or process content you don't have the right to store or process, to attempt to access another customer's data or account, to interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation, or to reverse-engineer the Service beyond what applicable law expressly permits.

We may suspend or terminate access for use that violates this section or otherwise creates legal or security risk for us or other customers.

8. Service availability and changes

We aim for the Service to be reliably available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service, with reasonable notice where practical, particularly for changes that reduce what a paid plan includes.

9. Intellectual property

Fullback and its underlying software, design, and branding are our property (or that of our licensors). These Terms don't grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond what's needed to use the Service as intended.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

A backup service is not a substitute for your own independent data-protection practices. We encourage you to treat Fullback as one layer of protection, not the only one.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Fullback will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms and don't cure the breach after reasonable notice, or where required by law.

Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Philippines.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll make reasonable efforts to notify existing customers (such as by email or an in-app notice) before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
