Refund Policy

Last updated 7 September 2026.

1. Overview

Fullback's Starter and Pro plans are monthly subscriptions, billed in advance. This page explains when a refund is available and how to request one. It works alongside our Terms of Service — see that page for cancellation itself, which you can do any time from the Billing page in your dashboard.

Purchases are processed by Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record — Paddle handles payment collection, VAT/sales tax, and the mechanics of issuing any approved refund back to your original payment method.

2. Cancelling vs. refunding

Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals — you keep paid-plan access until the end of the billing period you already paid for, and are not charged again after that. Cancelling on its own does not refund the current period.

We don't provide prorated refunds just for cancelling partway through a billing period or for not using the Service during a period you were subscribed. If that's what you're looking for, cancelling from the Billing page is the right step, not a refund request.

3. When we do refund

We'll issue a full or partial refund, at our discretion, in situations like these:

  • A billing error — you were charged the wrong amount, charged after cancelling, or charged more than once for the same billing period.
  • A service failure — a scheduled backup silently failed to run for a plan-eligible space for an extended period through our fault, and we weren't able to correct it.
  • You were charged for a plan you never actually got access to, due to a bug on our end.
  • Anywhere else refundable by law in your jurisdiction.

4. How to request one

Email janmichaelintia@gmail.com with your account email and what happened. We aim to respond within 5 business days. If we approve a refund, Paddle processes it back to your original payment method — how long it takes to actually land depends on your bank or card issuer, typically a few business days to about two weeks.

If you'd rather go through Paddle directly, their own order-related support (linked from your purchase receipt) can also help — since Paddle is the merchant of record for your purchase, they're able to assist with billing and refund requests directly.

5. Chargebacks

If something's wrong with a charge, please contact us first — we can usually resolve it faster than a chargeback, and it avoids the payment-dispute fees and account holds a chargeback can trigger on both sides. We reserve the right to suspend an account with an open chargeback while it's investigated.

6. Free plan

Fullback's Free plan isn't charged, so there's nothing to refund on it — this policy only applies to paid Starter/Pro subscriptions.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the version in effect at the time of your charge is the one that applies to it. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
